Tesla is rolling out attractive free Supercharging incentives on its Model 3 inventory in Canada as part of its push to boost sales in the third quarter.
In the United States, Tesla is preparing for the phase-out of the $7,500 electric vehicle tax credit. While the company is offering several incentives in the U.S. to drive vehicle sales before the credit ends, it’s not keeping all the good deals just for Americans.
Just yesterday, Tesla announced that it’s now offering free lifetime Supercharging on all Model 3 inventory vehicles in Canada — a significant perk for those who use their cars for daily driving.

Free Supercharging now on all Model 3 inventory 🇨🇦
This offer generally applies only to Superchargers located within Canada, which means if a Canadian driver crosses into the U.S. and uses a Supercharger there, they would typically have to pay for it.
That said, Tesla has confirmed that the charging agreement will be extended to the U.S. Canadian drivers should be able to drive across the U.S. and are to be given free Supercharging for the whole lifespan of the vehicle.
Free Supercharging is a major advantage. The money owners save on charging adds directly to what they would already be saving compared to owning a gasoline car. While Supercharging and home charging are usually cheaper than refueling with gas, the difference isn’t always huge.
But when Supercharging is free, the monthly savings can add up quickly — potentially hundreds of dollars each month, especially for those who plan to use their Tesla for daily commuting. For instance, someone using a gas car might fill up twice a week, spending $80–100 every five days.
Tesla is using these kinds of incentives to get more vehicles into the hands of customers. With such strong promotional efforts, this third quarter could turn out to be one of Tesla’s best in recent times.
